Huawei is building HarmonyOS at an accelerated pace. This year the company plans to transfer a multimillion gadget fleet to work with it. It hopes that other Chinese companies will join the initiative “here’s a cool operating system for you”. Huawei confirmed last week that at least three companies are serious about starting to install HarmonyOS on their devices. It consists of three main parts: sweat-powered biofuel cells, motion-powered devices called triboelectric generators, and energy-storing supercapacitors.
